The Museum of Flight

The Museum of Flight is one of the biggest air and space museums in the world and you should totally go see it. Located in Seattle, Washington, it's home to hundreds of aircraft and spacecraft exhibits. From WWI era biplanes to a retired 747 jetliner, from army helicopters to a real NASA space shuttle trainer, there's something for everyone here. It's also constantly expanding with new exhibits at least once a year.

The Museum of Flight is one of the biggest air and space museums in the world and it's located in Seattle. It was started by Boeing employees with a passion for preserving aviation history, and today it has grown into an expansive museum with several buildings on its grounds. The main building contains a large collection of planes from all eras and countries, but there are also galleries devoted to space exploration exhibits as well as historical aircraft from World War II. Visitors can even see part of an SR-71 Blackbird spy plane—the fastest airplane ever built!

The museum is constantly expanding and adding new exhibits, so if you haven't visited recently there's always something new to see on your next visit. Plus, they have a space shuttle trainer that you can go inside!

One example is the Air Force One that Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon flew in during their presidency. Another prominent display is the British Airways Concorde jet which was retired in 2003 after 25 years of service.

The museum has several galleries that showcase different aspects of aviation history including: Flight Path (history), Moving Beyond Earth (space exploration), Wings Over Washington (military), Biplanes to Stealth (aircraft development) and more!

Aside from the planes themselves there are plenty of interactive displays for people who want to learn more about how these things work or even try their hand at piloting one themselves by taking part in one of our flight simulators!

The Museum is also constantly expanding. New exhibits are added and the space exhibits are updated regularly. The museum recently opened a new hangar for airplanes, which includes a restaurant and gift shop, as well as a parking lot with over 1,000 spaces!

In addition to new exhibits, the Museum offers many exciting events throughout the year such as aviation art shows, music concerts, fly-ins and more.

You should go see it!

If you are a history buff or just enjoy learning about airplanes, this museum is for you. You can see all kinds of historic planes, from the first 747 to a Concorde. In addition to the great exhibits on display, there is a summer camps for kids, as well as educational programs for adults and kids alike.

If you like airplanes, you should definitely go to the Museum of Flight. It's a great place to spend a few hours or an entire day.
